Grats to Slumdog

First customer service, then information technology, now Oscars, tomorrow nationwide cricket leagues??! Seriously though, Slumdog took home an impressive 8 Oscars. I thought Hugh did an admirable job hosting the show even though that whole musical number with Beyonce was ridiculous. Ben Stiller's bit with Natalie Portman was retarded as well. PP and NoMoreGossipGirl were disappointed by the number of non-good-looking presenters and lack of female presenters with pretty dresses. Overall though, it was a good show and reasonably entertaining. The highlight of the evening was PP's recognizing that "That actor in Brokeback who died" and "That actor in Batman who died" were the same guy, and then bitterly lamenting why such a cute actor had died!
